Sweet Potato-Carrot Beet Juice

I think the name of this juice pretty much explains it all. This beet juice is my all time favorite juice to make. Also the health perks of beet juice are awesome! This juice is heart healthy and gets my day started just right every time.



Here is how it is simply made step by step.

First chop one green apple and juice. 


Next chop and juice one peeled carrot.


Take the skin, stem and leaves off of one beet and chop into chunks. Put chunked pieces through juicer.



Now chop and peel 1/2 a sweet potato and put through juicer.


Next take 1/2 a lemon and remove seeds and peel. Remove some of the lemon zest and dice remaining lemon into small pieces. 



Finally, cut a piece of ginger root about 1 inch in length. Put lemon zest and ginger root through the juicer.


Now here is what we have!


Pour into a glass and give it a stir.



Of course just like with my kale juice, I break all the rules and add ice. Either way you have it, trust me you won't be disappointed! 
So to make the perfect glass of beet juice, all it takes is a few key ingredients. 
Here's the ingredients that went into making this heart healthy glass of red deliciousness.

Ingredients:
1 green apple; chopped in large pieces
1 beet; peeled and chopped into large pieces
1 carrot; peeled and chopped
1/2 sweet potato; peeled and chopped into pieces
1/2 a lemon; seeded and rind/peel removed
1 inch piece of ginger root

This glass of sweet potato-carrot beet juice paired perfectly with my breakfast of toast with almond butter and fresh fruit topped with homemade granola and honey. Perfection!
